Together with Chris, we created a series of short Q&A pieces for Wacken TV, giving fans a real insider’s view — from how to find your parking spot to where to grab your wristbands once you arrive. Between the chaos, the noise, and the mud, these clips became the human voice of the festival.
Even after the crowd was gone, we stayed one more day — capturing interviews with the organizers and wrapping the story with a final behind-the-scenes cut that showed Wacken from a whole new angle.

Project in Detail
From guitar solos screaming through the night to headbanging crowds knee-deep in mud, our cameras were everywhere. We produced a cinematic aftermovie that bottled the chaos and beauty of Wacken, while delivering daily recaps that kept fans connected in real time. Add to that pre-event storytelling and a smartphone livestream direct from the grounds, and Wacken’s roar went far beyond the festival field.
This was event media at its loudest and rawest — where precision meets sweat, and storytelling meets storm clouds.
